I'll have £20 on us announcing two new players when we can be bothered to do it.

I heard from a reliable source in the Prince of Wales that the signing is definitely happening but has been held up due to the time it takes in Holland to change his name legally to Gylfi Sigurdsson

The Butchers Arms Tilehurst seems to reckon 11am Friday is a good shout and that it could well be three players. Hooper and Malouda too. Just come back from a crafty one there

The deal wasn't done until 3 or something.

Don't most deals get released earlier morning? Like the Bridge one. Don't normally get posted in the evening.

I have no more news about Drenthe.

Or opinions.

Will update you as soon as I do.

Thanks.

They probably haven't announced it as they want to show him off in the new kit.

They confirmed yesterday they are revealing the new kit in early July. It'll be a double announcement tomorrow, can't see anything else.

Jeez - they take their time don't they. Surely, even if we're about to sign A N Other, it's better to announce them separately in order to stir up even more hysteria on here. Ergo, announce we've signed Drenthe and people crow about it/moan about it whatevs, then say we're close to signing someone else so we can have another 60 pager about who it might be/won't be/whose neighbour's friend's teacher's mate who works at The Mad Stad says it will be.

I always find it's important to follow the Focher :D . No transfer has the chance of actually happening unless we have the critical update on the quality of housing the potential signing is looking for.

What. There I was thinking that this was a really great piece of business and a massive coup for RFC.. But.. Tom Smith says that he eats pies lots, he's total crap, pointless and cheap? Oh. Well I wish you'd have let everyone know sooner Tom, and HNA wouldn't have gotten so excited.

all gone a bit quiet on this one, not only with the transfer, but also any possible players out viewing houses.

The only lead I have to go on is some bloke with an accent called 'Nicola' who is booked in to see a very tidy 3 bed on Hadrians Walk East. If it is a footballer I can't see him buying it with the lack of off road parking.

As always if anything positive happens you m8s will be the first to know.

Hopefully we are not signing this load of lard. Hopefully common sense has prevailed signing this guy
would have/will be one of the worst ever. There is a pretty good list of terrible list of signings over the
years, this would/could be right at the top of the list. I am still worried that we might sign this bag of trouble
although it seems less likely than five days ago but still a possiblity.

Make my season Anton say we are not signing him ,but we have signed Siggy and Hooper.

He must be a bit of a nutjob if him and his agent make out he's signed a deal AND he wears club merchandise!
