Something is defo fishy about this.........the club don't normally like to be "gazumped" by releasing news but the fact they haven't filled our screens with the information means they are either waiting for another player to sign OR Royston is off his rocker and is just trying to promote himself in the news so a bigger club comes in and signs him.

Actually, it is excactly that sort of small but significant point that could scupper this type of deal, although I suspect it more likely it would hinge on a relegation pay cut rather than release clause.
