I know this don't add up to much, but i spoke to him at length about this possible move and he seemed very sure of the fact he would never go there and play.
I know money talks but he did seem very disapproving of the whole idea of playing for Gala.

Ian Royal Bit ambivalent on Karacan. I think he's a bit of a dick, but he's been a good if occasionally limited player. He's been rather headless hoofy chicken a lot of the time under McDermott. Although he seemed much improved under Adkins. He just leaves me a little cold for some reason. Probably as much to do with his flames nonsense tbh.

Anyone who had seen him as a younger player would be shocked at how he was being used in a Reading shirt tbh

He's always said he has wanted to play in Turkey one day, really wouldn't suprise me if he did move. But I think he's great at championship level , hopefully stays for this season!

He also tweeted yesterday..

@JemKaracan4

Last day in Turkey then back home and time to look forward to another season of soccer.

Make of that what you will, But my understanding of that is not going anywhere

Karacan is simply not good enough for Galatasaray, no idea why they would want to sign him.

Where did the Cimbom rep say he'd see me again? Looked everywhere and I can't see a sign saying Karacan!

apparently so, although I don't think Mikel is actually that good. Still a good move for Galatasaray
