Recovering from injury I believe.

But no way will we keep him, Carrico, Karacan and Ledge on our books. Carrico is almost certainly offski.

What's the point of signing a foreign player, if he's got an English name?

Exactly, when you buy a foreign player 25% of his value is in the name. E.g. Stoppila Sunzu

yappy
LoyalRoyal22 He only 25. Abit of a all round striker, just what we need.

Scored 1 goal last season from what I can see. Goal-scoring obviously isn't part of his "all round game" then

Church replacement.

Can you tease out a little more info without getting your mate into trouble?

Position, age, nationality, name... Does it look nailed on? Medical today apparently(?)

Born in Karlsruhe, Germany and grew up in Freiburg, Daniel Williams plays since August 2011 at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. Baden is his home, where he feels comfortable, also because his family still lives here. Every now and then it comes to him in his father's home. Whenever U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann gathers his national team to be heard and to Williams. He celebrated his greatest sporting achievements still in the youth field at SC Freiburg, where he celebrated 2008 German championship with the A-juniors. But in the pros, Williams has ambitious goals he wishes to accomplish together with the TSG. With the first nomination for the U.S. national team already a dream come true. When it comes to Williams this should not be the last, which he in his professional career still met.

Most of it is just general bla, bla ... but most interesting bits are that he was actually born in Germany (but I assume one of his parents is from the USA).
