The guy is a rock in midfield. Upgrade on Ledge basically and he is only 24. Would be immense in the Championship.

RfcJ Just can't get my head round why we didn't sign any decent players when we were in the prem but now we seem to be attempting to sign quite a few. Feels like we wasted the opportunity. Not complaining now tho , it's a first that we have been rumoured with this many players.

So someone at the club has learnt from past mistakes and acted upon it. I will not be completely satisfied until the window shuts and someone from the club says that we did not get everyone we were after.

Very badly written - I hope I have captured that in my translation.

Born in Karlsruhe, Daniel Williams grew up in Freiburg and has played for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim since 2011. His home is Baden, he feels good here as his family also lives here. Every now and then, he travels to his father's home(land). Whenever Jürgen Klinsmann gathers his (US) national players around him, Williams is among them.

His greatest sporting success was one he celebrated in the youth team of SC Freiburg, where he won the German championship at A-Youth level. Williams also has ambitious targets in professional football, however. When he was first capped at international level, one of his dreams came true. If everything goes the way Williams plans, this will not be the last of his ambitions he will fulfill.

Born : 08.03.1989
Nationality : American, German
Place of Birth : Karlsruhe
Height / Weight : 182 cm / 79 kg
Zodiac Sign : Pisces
Marital Status : Single
Hobbies : Listening to music, meeting friends, relaxing

That might be so, but I had my hopes on Roberto Firmino or Derdiyok. These other names now are just disappointing after all that.

Tokyo Sex Whale Tobais Weis. Nailed On.

1 cap for Germany, surely not the full international we are signing. This guy plays all over the midfield for those that have not heard of him.

What kind of a hobby is 'relaxing' :|

Then again, I list one of my hobbies as being 'uptight about everything' for god's sake :!:

Not played international football since 2008.

David Dunn, Francis Jeffer, Kevin Davies, Lee Bowyer, Michael Ball all made one cap for England and I would hardly call them full internationals.

Looks a nailed on triple swoop for Hoffenheim for Weis, Williams and Derdiyok.

Revenge for taking Gylfi.

I wonder if the sale of the remaining 49% of the club is a factor here? Previously, if JM still owned 49%, then any injection of cash from the Russians would mean he's getting a nice increase in the value of his stake, with no input from himself. Unless he was willing to match it (which we assume he wouldn't as he's getting out).

It might just be that its a darn lot easier to pump in money now that AZ and his buddies get to reap the benefit.

Also, how much money would we have needed to spend last year to have a realistic chance of staying up? Possibly £20m still would have left us short (look at QPR), whereas going down and spending relatively big to build in the championship, so that we go up in a better situation is a smarter bet.

Now to wait and see if it works....

Disappointed if we get a centre mid. We have plenty of those. Striker, attacking midfielder or maybe centre back are the only places we need to strengthen.

Tried to find clips of Danny Williams on youtube, only found one of him getting twatted about by Vitali Klitscho. Tobias Weis doesnt have anything either really.

Im sure these guys would be great players and possibly a step up from what we already have but do we really need them?
