I could weep for the bloke. What a terrible way to end up. ;-)

Same applied when the Great Glen Little ended up scratching a living at Aldersh*t.

I'd take away the probably and put in place definitely.

Didn't put enough effort into training. Gangly legs that can't take knocks combining with injuries. He'd always said he wouldn't last past 30. He just hasn't stopped playing despite that.

Just love Dave, he's always going to be a hero at RFC. Shame it's *xf*rd but at least he seems to have gone there for the right reasons ie a club he thinks will be promoted v any club waving big cheques

Why are people on here always thinking about the past, wow an ex player signs for someone, SHOCKER.
He does not play for us anymore so why on our "team" board

Indeed, watching him play was sometimes painful to watch, with his dangly legs

On the plus side, when he is injured he will be living locally again and can come watch our home games. RFC legend.

Makes me want Oxford to get promoted and that makes me feel a little dirty. Good luck Dave hope you do well and get another league title medal.

Would've thought he still had League 1 in him.

Can't help but think it must be awful and difficult for a player to come to grasp that he is in the twylight of his career and ending up back in the league where they started.

Still at the best Dave. Always a Royal.

Portsmouth away his best goal for me.

Ooh, I hope so. He started at Arseley Town who play in the Southern Football League. If Kitson finished his career in that league with Oxford, it would be a happy, happy day.

He'll be playing Portsmouth home and away again this season .... it's not just he who's fallen!

The thing about Kitson is that he never got the hype about being a footballer so 'falling' to his current league won't bother him in the slightest; he'll still think he's lucky to be paid well for kicking a ball about while he continues his work interests outside of the game.

I enjoyed listening to his interviews too as you know he was the only one not trotting out cliches. I also think he was Berbatov-esque in his style and that was good to watch.

Good luck to him!
