Ian Royal Adults who try and tell other adults what they should and shouldn't wear are bigger gimps than adults who wear football shirts.

That depends if you're giving your wife tips or not to be fair.

Had promise but then they fcuk it up by sticking a Russian flag in the collar.

Won't be buying it.

Is it that hard to design a shirt with a decent collar? Will probably opt for the away shirt if I do buy one.

Yet another awful kit.

Next year we need a campaign spearheaded by a designer who isn't a oxf*rd moron.

Send him constructive feedback then, his twitter handle is a few pages back! He can at least make a note for next season, and he is by all accounts a very decent lad!

No Fixed Abode Football shirts are a no no for anyone over the age of 18.

Acceptable RFC related items to wear on match days are

1)Retro shirt
2)T-shirt
3)Retro scarf

Have to agree, which is why I only will ever wear my one Reading top, which is the retro Robin Friday one. I still get odd looks by mongs when I occasionally wear it to games, which I only do when I am not going out afterwards.

That looks oxf*rd awful. Why do they keep bringing back those shitty back panels?

It's not a back panel, it's a plain back.

that might be so in the UK, as the same thing basically applies for american football over here. i dont think the stigma is there for real football in america. i NEVER see anyone wear a american football jersey on campus, i will see shirts all the time though. on the other hand, i see a football jersey almost every day, but hardly any shirts.

Differently mentality over the pond though. .

It's not just the USA. England seems to be about the only place in the world that has a hang up with football shirt wearing.

I don't really like the thing some Reading fans do, wearing very old shirts to games. I find that rather than looking like they've been going for years, it makes them look like they haven't bothered going to games since the '95 play-off final.

To me, going to a game is the only time that wearing a football shirt looks OK. It's not as if they are fashionable garments, so wearing them is really about "showing your colours", and little more.

Quit fcuking moaning, you bunch of bitches!!

Great from the front, naff from the back, so was the kit when we last won the league.

Half of you grumpy bastards wont be buying it anyway, and you wont even be able to see the red from your seat either!

Well I really like both the new home and away shirts.
And I'll buy both (but then I would regardless).
And I'll wear them whenever and wherever I oxf*rd well like. Couldn't give a shit if nobbers approve or not.
