Away kit is great, it's pretty difficult to pick any holes in it. The home kit is a vast improvement on last season, which for me was horrendous. Far too blue, not enough hoops, and just plain horrible. Yes the back would be better with hoops, but it's a nice kit overall, and for Puma, I think we can count ourselves lucky.

Good to see Greenock Morton using 'last seasons' hooped kit for another season. Quite rare these days for clubs to do that.

If you're referring to the Lisbon kit above, then the back is plain green.

Think they look pretty cool tbh ... hoping that shorts are the same colour of blue as the top, ...may the away shorts should be red?? - when we had the black away top a couple of seasons ago we played with red shorts a couple of times and it looked great...

Training kit on sale from Friday yet there's not been any official photos to advertise it yet? Nothing on Reading FC Direct either. We're really good at this.

Upon reading the last few pages.

Just  @ grown men getting into a heated discussion over a football kit.

reading_fan Perhaps the club have realised that by putting a plain back on the shirts they flog more names and numbers so can bring in an extra £10 or so per shirt.

Bloody hell you're probably right! Seems so obvious when you think about it. Classic RFC cunning.

It was, so the fantastic sporting puma kit is near identical to our new one, yet people slag our one off.

Good.

Personally I like both and agree that the plain back is likely going to make me get a name and number, as it did last championship season, but people take this stuff too seriously!

On another point, was there actually any official announcement that we renewed with puma this year?

Granted it does indeed. But I think our collar could have been worse, at least it's blue, which is the same colour as the hoop that goes through it.

Would anyone put a name & number on the back of a shirt just because it was plain?

OK, I know there must be such people, but couldn't we just put them into one area to make it easier to point and laugh?
