So Brian now has to pay people to watch his brand of football?

That figures.

Did he?

Well in that case I take it all back. He is clearly a premier class manager, promoting attractive flowing football, and should never have been sacked.

About as funny as a kick in the nuts. Not that you two would know what that feels like.

Fair play to Brian though, its a legendary thing to do. Endearing himself to the Leeds fans as well. I hate Leeds but I would actually like to see them do well this season, as long as they don't do better than us. Would be cool if Brian was the one to take that club back to the Premier League though (in second place, with us as champions). 8)

McDermott was a fantastic manager for us, certainly more impressive than Adkins or Rodgers.

What? Give Adkins a chance to build his own team before making that judgement, aka this season. No doubt Brian did a great job for us but was really found lacking last season.

No, I respect the man which is obviously a concept you and the likes of Avon have difficulty with. Did he make mistakes last season? Yes because everyone has a hand in a relegation be they manager, DoF and in this case most definitely the Owner. Does he deserve to have his character and professional ability ridiculed because of one bad season out of some great ones by an ignorant little shit like you? No.

As for ''deluded'' that's a bit rich coming from someone who says stuff like:

Royal91 This!

On a serious note if you look at the goalkeeping market, De Gea went for £25m I haven't seen any evidence to suggest McCarthy is any worse. The fact he is ENGLISH, under contract and demanding first team football should result in an extra few £££ added on.

I'd say £12m or piss off!

Should be a laugh bringing this post up at the end of the season when McDermott's mostly likely jobless again and the other two have excellent seasons.

I know it's not supposed to be, but this sounds like a big compliment.

You could see what he was trying to do, just shoddy execution. Needs to up his game.
