Where's the reliable poster (no offence) - gazza-loyalroyal? If he says it's likely then I'm happy, but every man and their dog are linking themselves with him.

Is Billy Sharp a move forward? Will he take Reading to the next level? I don't think so, he's a decent striker at this level but I don't think he will take us forward so no thanks.

Considering we lack strength in depth up front, yes.

I know we lack in strength but my point is that we need to bring in someone better. I know it will never happen but my choice is Jordan Rhodes.

You think we can bring someone better in? Sharp is proven at this level, he would be a top signing for any club. We don't have the money to go out and bring in a Peter Crouch or a Kenwyne Jones.

I thought AZ was meant to be loaded? We have parachute payments too so of course we can afford kenwyne Jones. He won't be more than 5 million

think you need to realise that Drenthe Wiilams and Bridge will be a sizeable hit in terms of wages over and above the rest of the squad....we didn't clear that much off wage bill this summer....

I think we should bring in a Peter Crouch or a Kenwyne Jones. Not necessarily the footballers Peter Crouch and Kenwyne Jones, just anybody of those names.

It's common knowledge AZ isn't the money and his father is, and up to this point his father doesn't appear to have put any money in, so what we spend is based on what the club makes; hence the importance for all AZ's plans being based on us sustaining Premier League football. The problem is younger fans getting carried away and expecting things we haven't been promised!
