Pepe the Horseman I've never felt so positive going into a season. We'll win the league at a canter

Only one side has bounced straight back up the last three seasons big spending West Sham who scraped through the play offs. Be prepared for a big disapointment play offs would be a good achievment.

Luckily for me that's got fcuk all to do with how good our team is.

That's the view of Sky Sports' Garry Birtles who reckons the former Tottenham and Portsmouth boss can inspire Rangers to an immediate top flight return.
QPR, along with Reading and Wigan, dropped into the Championship last season but Birtles predicts all three will be poised for promotion come the end of the 2013/14 campaign.
"You have to say QPR, because of their manager, are the best equipped of the relegated Premier League sides to bounce straight back up," he told Sky Sports News.

"And then Reading, under Nigel Adkins, have a fabulous chance because they haven't lost players, they've got a very good squad and one that is very knowledgeable about the Championship.

Championship Top Goalscorer Odds:

Jordan Rhodes - 8/1
ALF - 12/1
Chris Wood - 14/1
Charlie Austin - 14/1
Jose Ulloa - 14/1
Grant Holt - 16/1
Troy Deeney - 18/1
Bobby Zamora - 20/1
Javier Acuna - 25/1
Jermaine Beckford - 25/1

Odds look about right, ALF and/or Rhodes could well be top scorers regardless of whether their teams go up or not. Unsure about Austin repeating last season's tally (if he stays put). Can't see Holt bagging enough to finish top, Deeney is a good sporting bet at 18's and could be the biggest threat to ALF and Rhodes ahead of Wood and Ulloa at 14's.

When was the last time Harry got a team out of the Championship? Just because a manager is good in the PL (debatable) does not mean they will be too good for the Championship... It is a different beast...

Can't see Le Fondre getting top goals scorer. Especially if we play 1 striker... I guess the odds are like that because he scored so many from the bench last year...

Sebastian Reading will not finish in the play off places

Wrong. I had a dream last night where we won the playoff final. It was glorious.
