Danny Williams

So Nigel said he wanted everyone to play 90 minutes in the friendlies this weekend. No mention on an injury to Williams? This has me slightly worried..

 it does sound familiar. I cant believe most on here got roped in by the hype of these 3 signings we have made, quality signings but the squad is not complete and by the sounds of it we wont do any deals until somebody leaves.

Probably the same place where it says Williams picked up a slight knock to his ankle, not severe enough to be mentioned but bad enough not to chance it in a preseason game.

He was having pictures with fans and signing autographs before the game yesterday

He's dyed his hair blonde though

Watching the highlights from our game vs Bristol City the other night, you can see quite clearly that Williams take a whack on the ankle/lower shin area during a goalmouth scramble right at the death. He stays down clutching it and the Brizzle players pull him to his feet.

A non-event signing until proven otherwise. Strip out the spin from the club PR boy, and there's zero substance. Perfectly willing to be proved wrong as the season progesses and I hope I am.

Drenthe might be overweight and slightly out of form, but at least he has a proven pedigree.

You obviously weren't at Bristol C last week - thought Williams was one of our best players when he came on.....

Williams has as much pedigree as most of our squad. 59 games in the Bundesliga and 12 international caps.

Do you forget we are a Championship club?
