Tis a great signing, and I would be feeling a little more positive if I was a QPR fan...

Pog- Useless/Disinterested
ALF- Only useful as impact player
Roberts- practically retired
Blackman- looked pretty useless so far

:| Wouldn't say it's much of an improvement

If it reflected reality on more than 2 of them, you'd be right. Even so, it's still three players who can play a full season compared to one.

Admittingly I was playing devil's advocate a little, however I would still indeed have the QPRs four strikers than ours.

First Remy has never been charged with rape, only arrested and bailed until September. This would suggest to me that the evidence is weak, but obviously if he was to be charged then it becomes a problem, but until then I don't think it's particularly fair to label him a "rapist." He's a long way away from being trialled for it. Let's be honest here, Remy is far superior to any of our strikers.

Secondly as for Zamora and Johnson, both played in their last friendly and are fit for the new season. Between them they have plenty of Premier League experience, and it'd be hard to argue that any of our strikers are better than a fit Zamora or Johnson.

Thirdly in Charlie Austin, they've got someone who was pretty prolific in the Championship last season and is still young and improving. His knee may be a problem, it may not, so that remains to be seen.

As for our strikers, Pog & Blackman still have a lot to prove and I genuinely believe we'll be lucky to get 10 games out of Roberts this season. I'm fairly confident that Zamora and Johnson will play more games than Roberts does. I do think we have a good Championship striker in Alfie though.

Reading weren't willing to pay the 18k a week Austin wanted. QPR were willing as it looks like Remy is joining Newcastle on a years loan so will be off the wage bill.

Yeah - 60K for the Pog is fine but 18k for someone who scores 4 time as many goals is too much. I just love commonsense!

? You've got idea how many goals Pog will score this season.
The guy's obviously class, and with the midfield we now have he'll soon run out of fingers and toes to count them all.....

1) Pog isn't on £60k
2) That wasn't a statement from the club, it was a load of bollocks from an HNA twat.
3) Fook off you tedious moron.

If you are free to presume the Pog is on £60kpw, then I guess I am free to presume, like many of the other players, his pay dropped due to relegation. I find it strange that people will bitch that we didn't match Austin's £18kpw, for a 4 year ( :?: ) deal that would have seen us paying him week in/week out if his potential 'injury' did affect him, yet will also bitch about us having to pay Roberts wages while he is injured.

QPR Substitution! Coming off the guy on a rape charge to be replaced by an alleged drug user.

You mean he's gonna score 9 this season? Or 11 if you include thumbs?

9? Where do you get that from? If you count 4 fingers on each hand (and most normal people would use their thumbs but just say they're counting on their fingers) that's 8, plus (and I'm assuming he hasn't lost any toes when I say this) 5 toes on each foot, that makes a total of 18. If he scores 19, he'll have run out of fingers and toes to count with. I'll take 19 goals from Pog, thank you very much.
