Got my ticket for this now. I've opted for the seated section as I'm not sure my legs will hold me for a full 90 minutes now I'm getting on a bit. Also going on my own as none of my normal m8s can make it.

Why have I been allocated a row and seat number (B & 21 respectively) for a terrace? :?

That's where you'll be sitting. It's not so much an official terrace, more that there just aren't any seats. You have to sit on the ground and B21 is your spot on the ground.
Enjoy!

Ah perfect! Knew it'd be something like that. If you see me sitting down please feel free to stand in front of me for the whole game, it's what I want.

Yeah. I'm getting on a bit. Don't like standing for long periods of time.

Will he get in then?

. Additionally 300 seats are allocated to away fans in the Screwfix Community Stand, which is covered. However tickets are only made available in this area to families with young children, senior citizens and ambulant disabled.

I hope so! I was asked if I wanted a standing or a seated ticket and I opted for seated to save my poor little legs and not to have to hear all the naughty words from the standees.

Haven't seen it mentioned here but South West Trains have a special offer that means you can get the train from Waterloo to Yeovil Junction for £15 return. I'm going from London anyway but it might make financial sense to come into London to take advantage of the offer. You can also add "Plus Bus" for £2.80 to cover all bus travel in Yeovil. At £20 a ticket, this is going to be the cheapest game of the season for me!

No need to travel to London. Just buy the ticket online and collect from Reading Station. Then buy a return to Basingstoke. Join the train from Waterloo when it gets to Basingstoke. Job done.

Beware on the plus bus option though. As we have been saying all along, it s miles from the station to the own and the bus service is pretty poor. Check on bus times before you commit.

I will be there, travelling in with a Yeovil supporter friend and staying there overnight. Bring it on, as they say.

Also, note that busses take you to the town centre and you'll need to travel on to Huish Park from there. Ergo, get to Yeovil early or risk missing ko.

If I get off the train at Yeovil Junction, how easy is it to get into the main town - i.e. where the whether spoons is?

This can all be checked online but as I'm bored at work yes, they do stop at Basingstoke at 7 minutes past the hour.

On the bus question this site: http://www.footballgroundguide.com/yeovil_town/ says:

John Midgley a visiting Huddersfield Town fan adds; 'Bus No.68 runs from both Yeovil Junction & Yeovil Pen Mill stations to the town centre. You can then take the regular First Traveller No.1 service (every 15 minutes), which drops you near the stadium at the Abbey Manor Park Housing Estate. The No.68 connects with the No.1 at the Lloyds TSB Bank, located on the town centre High Street (make sure you catch the No.1 with 'Abbey Manor Park' on the front). Just a few yards away from this changing point is the Mermaid pub which I can recommend for excellent food and beer. Anybody coming in by rail can buy a "Plus Bus" ticket with their rail ticket for an additional £2.80 which is valid on both the 68 and 1 services'. For bus timetables see the First Traveller website.

The number 68 Bus Timetable is here: http://www.southwestcoaches.co.uk/images/timetables/68%20service%20-%20feb%2013.pdf

And the No. 1 here: http://www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/dorset/journey_planning/timetables/timetable.php?day=2&source_id=2&service=001&routeid=7997271&operator=7&source=sp

Around 700, they have just over a thousand left.
