i like to think we are open and inclusive here, the differences between us all should be embraced
just cos someone says things we think are rubbish, or posts in a different way to everyone else, or thinks the way that we all do it is wrong, doesnt mean they should be ostracised, or made to feel unwelcome.This board has always been a haven for those who would stand up for a better world, and id like to see that continue.

in that spirit- i am uncomfortable with some of the comments here, and feel that this new poster may be being bullied .
I would like to distance myself from that, and give a message of open and honest communication, that brings the newcomer into the fold.

Not at all. I do live on an estate and I certainly wouldn't leave her or my youngest in a park without adult supervision, and in that case I certainly wouldn't leave them with strangers either. It's me or the missus watching or nothing.

As for the Mad stad, she is not familiar with her surrounding's, would I leave her on her own or with a friend of hers? Hell no. Especially at half time when the doors are wide open and they could wander off out somewhere. It's not an over reaction, kids get lost all the time due to their exploratory instincts. It's not them I don't trust, it's others.

Thing is, I'm no snob but some of the kids are right little bastards who's parents couldn't care less what they're up to. Mine are brought up, not dragged up. Hence why I won't allow them out on their own without us there.
