Same, give me a legal pay per view service that doesn't give my computer continuous viruses and i'm there. i'd happily pay £10 a match for the away games i can't get to.

This is what i am thinking now....plus the streams are often of low quality although not always. Think im going to give Player a go and settle for audio commentary for the games i cant get to. (Radio berks is just out of range where i live). Anyone rate Player? Good value for money etc?

super darren caskey Im getting a feeling that this could be the start of the end for watching free sport online

The end has been on the cards for ages though. It started with the shutdown of myp2p.eu a couple of years ago. That was the most popular streaming site. I thought that was it, but then wiziwig showed up, and looked exactly the same as myp2p. Firstrow was shut down, but now there is http://www.firstrow.org/

As soon as they shut one down, a sister site gets quicklyopened.

Its a shame there isnt official streams of football matches avalible through the clubs.I dont think it would affect attendances that much especially saturday afternoon games.

Clubs could make extra money from the people that cant go.They could share some of the fees between the two clubs.I expect most fans would be fairly happy to pay 10 quid or so a match.

I wonder if its something we will ever see in the future

And this thread is probably the main reason why this wouldn't happen in the first place!!!

It's fairly cheap. It was very good value when each match was uploaded in full within a couple of days. That hasn't happened for Ipswich so I'm not sure if they're doing it anymore. The highlights are ok. With audio you have to put up with Dellor's inanity. The stability is better than it used to be.

Does anyone know an audio steaming site that works on iPhone? The official player does not seem to work on this platform? Thanks for any help.

^BBC Radio Manchester & BBC Berks will have commentary of our game today if anyone has the tech or know how or is within range. Don't think it's available on the online radio broadcast though :| - 95.1 fm & 94.6 fm

I used Iraqigoals for streaming until it suddenly disappeared. I miss it as it was so easy to use and good for those out in the sticks slow broadband.

PremAddict Hell, I'd PAY if I could even get the coverage. And just found out that I can't even get the audio streams of the matches through Player on a mobile device. Blame the licensing lawyers (err. barristers).

I can get the Player audio stream on my android phone. You have to use a Flash enabled browser like XScope and use Reading's desktop site instead of the mobile one.
