Drenthe is a disgrace to the game. How he was in a Real Madrid side I will never know. Would make the swimming team though because he is a cracking diver.

At other times it looked like we were watching them play in our half. This was largely forced upon us by their excellent approach play, but we had chances to use the ball and just seemed scared, and they got the initiative back.

Overall we deserved no more than a point. However Reading should be happy with just one given that they only scored from a pen and we still had chances.
Plus points were the defending and how we conceded few real chances despite being outplayed

On the negative side they absolutely ran rings round us and we looked like an away sidefor long periods

I think he should be allowed to have one dive after the amount of cynical challenges made on him. Bolton and the ref were oxf*rd ridiculous!

They brought him down several times and all were fair free-kicks in our favour. At the end of the day he's that type of explosive player who can accelerate away in a second, and he will invite clumsy tackles. The one for the pen - there was contact, but he could and should have stayed on his feet and tried to deliver an end product, but fair play to him, he didn't react to any of their rash challenges, and at times made a decent side look very average. I bloody love this guy!

In that he could have stayed on his feet - yes, but there was contact and where Drenthe has played (i.e. Real Madrid in particular), you go down under that and you usually get your pen. He'll learn, and in return referee's will trust him when he does go down in the box.

He was superb today! The guy is a massive talent!

He's class, and the scary thing is that he isn't even 100% fit yet..

Just hope that we can keep him on a reasonably sensible path for a decent amount of time, but as long as he feels loved here I think he'll be motivated enough to keep going
