There is one decent train to Yeovil Pen Mill which only takes only 1hr 50mins, the rest are all at least half an hour longer, and most go to Yeovil Junction in the middle of nowhere:

dep 10:02 Westbury (Wilts) [WSB] to Yeovil Pen Mill [YVP] arr 10:54

Leaves a few hours to make the 3 mile journey to the ground, starting with a breakfast at 'Spoons:

Going to look into other boozer's en route.

If that is too early, then there is another one leaving Reading at 11.04, arriving at 13.16 but this would require a quick step or a taxi

No alcohol is to be served at the ground if it is a capacity away crowd, which looks likely.
The Bell in Preston Road is shut indefinitely after a fire in January.

Imagine the money they will be losing out on by creating that silly rule!

I ask as it's not mentioned on Football Ground Guide - but regardless I've heard of this stuff before and it's often not the case when you get there.

My own fault I guess but still I didnt think we would sell out that quick with that many left on Wednesday. Guess alot of Royals haven't been to Yeovil before...

Yea I noticed Brum got over 2000 tickets, can't remember exact figure.

I assume we were offered the entire away stand + the side sheltered bit OR two thirds of the away stand + sheltered bit, so slightly less.
