Will95 Fans singing for Alfie whilst he wasn't on was annoying to say the least, as was all the anti-McAnuff.

Twats, end of.

To be fair, the only time I heard Alfie's name being chanted was when he was on the touchline..and McAnuff wasn't at his best today. Not that I condone either. Enjoyed the game though, poor first, cracking second, unlucky not to win. Was Bogdan's save from Morro quite as good to everyone else as it seemed to me? Superb reactions

Royal91 Definitely worth it.

The club is growing, the club has ambition and Reading is beginning to overtake the bigger clubs who won things 50 years ago. That's why we get so much abuse on twitter.

Success breads haters.

And yes as the club expands, we will get more away fans!

Bread?

Tbf, these are the people I go with, and they're good lads and do their best to make an atmosphere, but when they do this it does my head in and I refuse to join in. Quite often found shouting at them after the songs/shouts to give them the player a chance or announcing my love for the player they're hating on to try and even it out a little.

I'm sure they are all good lads that like a nice day out. They started chanting for Alfie after only 10-15 mins. Support the team that is on the pitch. Christ, give the new blood a chance to shine. I know it was only a penalty but Blackman tucked it away very cooly. What more do you want?

Agreed. The it's always your fault comment was very much tongue in cheek though,I really don't understand the abuse Jobi gets. But considering most of the twats that would join in with anything were about 15 it's hardly surprising.

It was ridiculous from them, wasn't best pleased.

Nice to hear a lot of variety of Swinedon/Poxford/Aldershit chants go up today (pathetic nicknames included  )

One of the better early season games I've seen in a few years and really we could/should have won. As others have said, Le Fondre / Pearce / Morrison were all brilliantly denied by the ginger kid in goal and we had other good chances from McCleary and Bridge too. At the other end, McCarthy wasn't truly tested that much.

Gunter was dire - absolute football nightmare when he managed to concede a corner for us....from one of our own corners and in Bolton's own half

Drenthe - obviously class but needs to channel it better. All well and good doing the fancy ball spinning tricks to make the defender look silly, but the putting a cross in right to the keepers hands so they can start a counter attack is only gonna end in tears.

Guthrie had probably his best game for us (not hard as he was mostly dire last season) and I was confused as to why Adkins took him off instead of the seemingly 'irreplaceable' McAnuff, who was doing his best audition of the lost boy from Peter Pan for 90 mins today.

Mostly positives to take from today and if we can work on our end product / attacking threat then we'll be in a commanding position in this league.

That'd be my group, and the slightly younger knobs on our right.

Oof cracking saves from Bogdan. Not quite hit perfectly by Alf, but still very well saved. McCleary had a bullet, Pearce good effort too.

No penalty shouts shown by the beeb. oh well.

Great cross for their goal, but not well dealt with defensively IMO.

In my experience young (possibly drunk) people are all the more likely to "act the tough man".. All conjecture of course but trusting a clip that only show the end of whatever happened is a dumb idea.. The uploader is an apprentice spin master
