He arrived a mercenary and he'll leave a mercenary. He was all set to sign for Fulham where he had a successful loan and clearly fitted into their system, but then his agent said they couldn't turn down our offer and Fulham said they couldn't match it. In my opinion he's been the biggest waste of money in the clubs history.

Except that's not even how Adkins is setting them up.. most of the wantaway players normally at least try and make it sound like they're still interested! I still really wanted to see him stay and tear the Champ up, but it's looking less and less likely that he'll stay/even cares enough.
