Who were you referring to then? Because as far as I can tell, nobody on this thread has displayed any intention of booing him.

Presumably the 'you' isn't referring to any specific person currently but rather anyone - whoever they may be - who decides to boo on the night.

Man Friday I wasn't referring to you.

You're no genius are you?

So let me get this straight.

You say quoting winch and One8 "and you boo him??? What sort of morons are you?" But that's not directed at them.

Then you quote me after I say you must be a moron, because you've called two people morons for intending to boo Brian, when they intend no such thing and have clearly stated it, calling me a moron, because you were directing the question at those who boo Brian (the question where you call people who'd boo Brian morons, and you're calling me a moron, ergo because you think I intend to boo Brian). And I'm the moron because you didn't mean me either?

oxf*rd Nora that's convoluted. You need to really work on your use of English, because that's as plain as mud. So I'd still suggest, seeing as you're the one who is incapable of articulating their point, you're the moron. So there.

Well I fully intend to get outraged now at all you ignoramouses who'll be shitting in his seat before the game. It's just disgusting behaviour. Take a look at yourselves!

I didn't see any implication that Man Friday thought you were going to boo - clearly they can perceive someone as being a 'moron' for matters other than booing Brian McDermott!

Using something like 'they' or 'one' originally would probably have been better but then 'you' is used informally in a not completely accurate way regularly (e.g. 'you should all be ashamed of yourselves' when the people you're referring to aren't who you're directly addressing) and I thought it was reasonably clear he was referring to Winchester Royal's specific hypothetical example of whether to judge anyone who boos. (with Man Friday's stance evidently being that anyone who does boo is a 'moron', something I probably wouldn't really disagree with.)

It's pretty funny watching Reading managers move on after people question my judgements on here...

Coppell - stayed at RFC another year, failed...went to another Championship club, bottled it...never managed after
Rodgers - got promoted with Swansea by beating US, stayed up in the Prem playing good football, now rebuilding one of the biggest clubs in the country
McDermott - soon to fail at Leeds

What does any of that have to do with anything?

Rodgers was taking us to League One

But he still failed at Reading, failed to convince the players, failed to convince the board.

LOL

Got promoted with Swansea by just carrying on what was there already. Basically it was there on a plate for him.

As for Lollerpool, rebuilding it into what? He hasn't shown he can build or rebuild a team or a club in his career and there is nothing he's done at Liverpool to suggest he has changed that. The only thing he's built them into atm is an even bigger laughing stock (thROFLee EnveLOLopes).

Great, so you can pick who'll be successful after leaving us, but have oxf*rd all clue about who's doing a good job while they're here. Give yourself a prize.

Our current brand of so-called passing football is all well and good, but no-one can dispute that a McDermott team would have held on for the win on Saturday.

Don't get me wrong though, I still think that the manager has at least another couple of games grace period before Anton needs to start looking for alternatives.

Yeah, there's no doubt that a McDermott team would have held on for a win (just like we did against Arsenal, after we were 4-0 up).

Still, I bet Nigel's happy that Bandini gives him a couple more games!!

That may well be true, but I don't think a McDermott team would have been 2-0 and 3-1 up in the first place. We always struggled with teams that played passing football through the middle under McDermott (Swansea, Cardiff, Peterborough, etc).

I think that Bandini forgets that time we were 2-0 up against Sheff U and lost 2-3, which was just one of many defeats we suffered under bROFLian McDeROFLmott.
