Then why did we sing at Nolan in particular, asking him what the score was?

Closest player to the fans and the scoreboard was broken. Everyone arrived late, so weren't sure if they'd missed a goal or not.

Don't need him, we already have 5 wingers to play in the attacking 3 behind the central striker. In fact you can add Williams to this as he looks like he could definitely play behind the striker.

Vaz Te is not a central striker, he has always played on the wing or played just behind the main striker. We need a central striker to rotate with Le Fondre, don't think Blackman or Pog are the personnel to excel in the Championship.

There is also a Cameron Jerome rumour around at the moment. Jerome and Vaz Te added to Blackman and ALF would start to look like a decent attacking threat. The Pog could be sent on his way and, if Roberts ever becomes pickable, we would have some variety.

Yes that would be be impressive and a considerable improvement on what we have now even if the Pog stays. Not holding my breath for either though as we seem to be playing the usual no money and not going to be held top ransom cards at the moment.

I would give my left testicle to have Vaz Te in the team. Get him in and ship Jobi off to Leeds

Zaretsky His header against us season before last at UP was utter class.

Took me a while to work out you meant Upton Park? I grew up in a family deluded enough to have 3 Wet Sham supporters so have never understood why other team fans always call their ground Upton Park. I don't know any WH fans who call it that. It's a bit like us Reading fans calling the Madejski 'Green Park'. Did I just have a strange childhood or did I genuinely miss something?

Edit: Vaz Te would be a great signing. Hated him at Wet Sham because he always looked dangerous and like he could turn a game.

Tokyo Sex Whale Looking in to it a bit more he scored 36 goals in 66 appearances for Barnsley and West Ham in the Champ.

His PL campaign was a bit of a disaster, only scored 3 in 24 apperances and missed a sitter against us. He did dislocate his shoulder which kept him out for three months too.

The more I think about it, the more I think he would thrive here. A new challenge, with Adkins approach, being fed by Drenthe and Kebe.

Goals and exciting football.

Got any links to his attitude causing issues? Don't doubt it at all but never heard of it. Don't associate him with being a problem player.

that would involve kebe being fit, more chance of this rumour happening

This exactly. The comment about him being a poor man's Nick Blackman is just plain ignorant. We are running out of time and it won't be much lost if he turns out to be a flop (which he won't).

Agree with previous comments. Need him or not if there was a genuine chance to sign him for 1.5 mil then lets do it. I am sure he would contribute nicely in the championship. Can see 6-7 goals in him at least and for 1.5 mil I would be happy with that.

Dunno. TBH I couldn't care less what they call their ground. Just wouldn't immediately think to call it the Boleyn Ground. It's the same logic of stadiums known by the roads they're in,as opposed to the 'official' name of the ground.
