sandman Federici

Kelly
Pearce
Mariappa
Bridge

McCleary
McAnuff
Karacan
Guthrie
Drenthe

Alf

Subs: Taylor, Cummings, Morrison, Akpan, HRK, Blackman, Pogrebnyak

What he'll go with is same as last week with maybe Alf in place of Blackman and HRK instead of Jobi.

This, except I would like to see HRK and Williams start. Hoping Mariappa plays, and I would actually prefer Morrison to partner him instead of Pearce now.

Bar a couple of changes that I would personally make, yes actually exactly that. I was more agreeing with sandman about the fact Adkins probably wont change the team except for the 2 changes he mentioned, I was just adding what I would like to see.

I think the key at this stage is continuity, so I'd go with the same team as Bolton, even though I'd ideally prefer a few different faces in the line up if I had been picking the team.

Pearce had good game last week and I would say is a definite cert to start unless injured.
If the Kebe is fit I would like to see him come in for Jobi and give it a blast for the first 45
Otherwise it will be the same team v Bolton I'm sure
Would be good to see Mariappa on the bench though, I'm sure he is desperate to be a part of this one.

Thta's line up is significantly pre-Gurney iirc. I'm sure he only joined us at the Mad Stad and that's an Elm Park line up.

Besides, Tooti Fruitie was ok. Ish.

If Mariappa isn't at least on the bench-if not playing-then there is something serious going on here !

Why? What do you think has changed in a week that wasn't the case already?

Either he's genuinely 4th choice on merit from pre-season and training, or he's off. And which ever it is will have been the case since Ipswich. In fact I'd go so far as to say if he's back in the team or squad THEN something is clearly off, because it makes it more likely his dropping was secretly disciplinary.

A shrewd analysis! I expect it is more likely he is off rather than genuinely being 4th choice.

I believe it to be this.

Same as for Bolton, but with Goz on the bench instead of Pog.

This time though Nige can give his half-time team talk at 2.50

I wouldn't have anticipated it, but I'm not inclined to disagree. I think its bonkers he's behind Gorkss and a little surprising it's not one of Pearce and Morro with him. But hey ho.

When Kebe is fit i would like to see Drenthe in the hole, Kebe and McCleary on the wings.

Any updates on how many tickets Watford have sold? I know it was over 2500 last time it was announced.

Why would you completely drop McCarthy from the squad ?
