At least Hunt always gave 100% for us. Granted he's not the 20 goal a season striker we all want, but if we don't sign another striker before Sep 2, then i think we will have fcuked up with that too. Would rather have him there as back up than Pog.

I don't like escapegoating normally, and certainly associate it with the less enlightened souls in the Team Board fraternity, or the fool who sat behind me all last season having a go at McAnuff, but having a go at Pog is not really like having a go at one of our players because he wants to leave.

I would like to see him go because it seems that that is what is holding up other acquisitions. However, if he does stay, we'll need to encourage him to give us his best. That does not mean booing him or writing abuse about him just because he would prefer to play at a higher level. Which of our players wouldn't?

Good, he could be a huge boost. Him and ALF could tear up the division at the top of a diamond or traditional 4-4-2 and he's perfectly capable of performing against defences on his own at this level. He'd be a big boost to the current strike force of ALF & Blackman.

In all fairness if Pog was a premium product that you'd bought from a shop you'd be back in there demanding a refund, or failing that writing in to Watchdog. If he was on say 10k a week then a case could be made for him staying, it's difficult justifying the wedge he's on now.
