Pepe the Horseman Pjanic not happening apparently. Willian having medical though.

Hopefully this will mean the end of the Black Eyed Peas, they were awful.

I'm surprised Fergie didn't sign him for Man Utd last season.

£94m.

£94m (ninety-four million pounds).

I wonder how many individuals will each make a million from that deal?

Would lol if they pulled out of the deal after Spurs have basically already spent the majority of the money on new players.

AVB is still denying it though. But it's being widely reported that it's pretty much a done deal...

sandman, not necessarily. Joe Lewis (the chap who owns ENIC who invest in Spurs) is a billionaire and essentially 3rd richest man in the Premiership behind Roman and the Sheikh. It was mostly tied up in property but he's released a fair portion recently to invest in Spurs, which is why they have gone on a bit of a spree.

Looks like Scott Sinclair is on his way to Saints or WBA.

Absolute comedy if that figure is true, one has to wonder how financially sound RM actually are. Bet Spurs don't get all that up front

They have huge income streams, along with a very accommodating bank manager and a hugely talented accountant.

I understand how rich Lewis is but clubs are starting to have to avoid the rich benefactor and spend more and more based on income which means, for the most part, I would think Spurs are spending the money they're are counting on getting for Bale already.

^True in theory, but I'll believe it when we see in a couple of years how 'financially fair' Manchester City's 'arrangements' are.

Anelka's walked out of West Brom's training ground, telling them he's retiring.

Who is also his brother - nice of SSN and co check that out isn't it.

Suppose they would still be working hard if a family member died though.

What did SSN say? It's only his agent?

Seemed to suggest he just walked out and said he was never coming back to speak (retiring)

His agent is his brother I think so you can understand why he'd be rather upset.
