Amid Nicolas Anelka’s reported retirement, West Brom are 4/1 to sign Adam Le Fondre, 6/1 to sign Demba Ba, 14/1 to sign Romelu Lukaku and 16/1 to sign Jermain Defoe before the transfer deadline. See all Sky Bet’s transfer odds here.

What did SSN say? It's only his agent?

Seemed to suggest he just walked out and said he was never coming back to speak (retiring)

His agent is his brother I think so you can understand why he'd be rather upset.

Not according to the Birmingham Mail, who first broke the story. His brother is alive and well, it is another agent who has died.

Pepe the Horseman Pjanic not happening apparently. Willian having medical though.

Hopefully this will mean the end of the Black Eyed Peas, they were awful.

Willian to join Chelsea?

As if there weren't enough reasons already to fall out of love with the game.

Seem to remember a Bulgarian former Spurs striker being met at Manchester Airport by a red nosed former Man United manager despite the fact a transfer fee had been agreed with another club in the same City and not said manager's club.

TBM Will.i.an fee agreed with Chelsea

That is a ridiculous and pointless signing. I guess Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Schurrle, De Bruyne, Moses, Marin and van Ginkel don't present enough depth in attacking midfield.
