One8Seven1 Yeovil now aware we're buying in the home ends. They said "wheels are in motion", whatever that means. They'll either let us in, move us, or refuse us entry. Might be better to call before you set off.

26-10-06 Thinking the Arrow though, that way means we can walk to the stadium about 145ish, and watch the first half of any early kick off!

The Real Sandhurst Royal I have heard the A303 at Stonehenge has road works with delays.

M BrookThe Real Sandhurst Royal I have heard the A303 at Stonehenge has road works with delays.
I drove down to Exeter on Saturday. It took an hour to get past Stonehenge - was bumper to bumper from the Solstice Park. Coming back went on the A303 (stopping at Yeovil for a bit of a reccie) but turned off before SH and went via Devizes. However, next Sat it's the Devizes Carnival and loads of diversions will be in place. If I drive, I'll leave about 10 30am and keep fingers crossed the traffic is not so bad on the 303 or might just drive to Basingstoke and jump on a train there.
I'll never work out why they built SH right next to one of the busiest A roads in the country!

Thanks MB... If it is bad again on Saturday it looks like you can come off at Solstice Park and go through the centre of Amesbury and pick up the A303 further down past the Countess Roundabout, this maybe an option?

The Real Sandhurst Royal OK MB....Looking at Google Map’s you have an option to do the following should the traffic be bad and backed up to Solstice Park:
Leave at the Solstice Park junction and head north to Burford, and turn westbound onto Larkhill Road across the A345 to The Packway through Larkhill and pick up the (B3086) back to the A360 to rejoin the A303 or you can continue on The Larkway to Shrewton(B3086) and onto (B3083) Winterbourne Stoke to rejoin the A303.
