CholseyRoyal Anton has been very quiet recently. Maybe ice hockey clubs are more interesting to him. How long before he sells RFC.

MmmMonsterMunchManchesterRoyalsCholseyRoyal We have three new players, admittedly very good players but all on frees. We haven't spent a penny on new signings. We have also let several go to reduce the wage bill. Same old Same old!
Agree wheres all the money gone?????
On players wages. When will the mentally challenged on here come to terms with the fact we don't have an open chequebook?

RFCMod Maybe someone can resurrect the link from when he first joined us and the Saints fans comments.
If I remember rightly for the first half a season they were calling for his head and then suddenly they saw
the passing game which suddenly got results
I don't know why I'm posting on the team board because I've got more sense but we're Reading we're not a yo-yo club we're an old 1st division club who know their way to push for play offs and unbelievably 2 automatic promotions.
Adkins will get us there with or without Russian money
He's the right head for our club and the fact that a Russian investor has gone more heavily on the academy and grassroots side fills me with more confidence than most foreign intervention

hedgehog Hmmm non of this is a surprise "The squirrel from the Wirral " is not a Reading man,his record with us to date is dire,he is an Arsey Scouser he just does not fit in here he clearly cant handle the squad he has inherited, he cant handle the press and he cant win football games, at least Brian had 13 years helping building our club and could win a football match when given the proper support, as for Aton " you fired Brian McDermott and you spent fcuk all " says it all. Lots more misery to come I expect.

blueroyals He's had 13 games FFS. You can't change the playing style of the club (without signing a new squad) in the space of 13 games. If he gets the sack we'll go back to the long-ball shite that McDonut served up for 3 years. Is that what you want?
We have the chance to evolve as a football club and develop our own brand of football but some of you want to throw that all away for short-term gain?

winchester_royal I think there's a reasonable chance Nige will leave of his own volition if things don't go particularly well in the transfer market over the next few days. Clear signs of frustration.
