2 world wars, 1 world cup Oh how fun it is to see the masses finally coming to realise that a few early goals for Fulham doesn't make you amazing

Still if he applies himself hell come good at this level. Like I've always said it's his only way of getting out of Reading so he may as well try.

Seriously. Good at this level?

He proved on Tuesday night he is no good at League One level, against a team who were relegated from the Championship last season. He is completely useless, uninterested. He was strolling around when we had the one decent chance on Tuesday night in no position to react. In fact I wouldnt be suprised if it cannoned off his head he was so uninvolved in the game.

I would go as far as saying he is the worst striker in the Championship. I wonder if Birmingham would like a swap with Zigic?

Problem is i dont think he can be arsed

Exactly... the only way out of Reading FC is if he does become arsed and does well.

Otherwise his career is over

He could make the Oxford team. If he's lucky.

Basically, McDermott broke Pog.

He was clinical when he first joined us, but not getting enough chances created for him. Then he clearly started hating it here and suddenly couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo. Since then he's been terrible.

I can't wait for him to leave. This club would be a better place without him.

Now if I was being paid £60k a week, even if it wasn't Reading... Don't you think I'd work my arse off! Of course I would I'd scrub the loos clean as well!

You know the funniest thing. When Pog runs on that pitch I see him with less chance to score a goal than if I'd been on there. Now thats confidence for you! Oh and don't make excuses like McD broke him. McD gave him a chance, Pog wasted it, then McD got sacked. Anyway he should be able to work under any manager if he really is that good.

But of course he isn't! He is crap!

The only thing that infuriates me more than Pog being a lazy oxf*rd, getting paid loads, is this country shipping out half a £M on oxf*rd benefits.

I tell you what. I'd run round Reading stark naked if that happened.

Basically there is more chance of a woman growing balls.

Hey don't get me wrong I'm LOVING the gloating that I was bang right about him being **** .

But I only ever said he'd be so and so for the Prem. I honestly think if he can be arsed he'll shine here.

He has to realise sooner or later that he is no Ronaldo, so unless he tries extremely hard no one is going to want him. Dammit he earns more in a week than I do in 6 months. He best actually earn it!!

So what happens with with Pog now? Can he go out on loan to a European club? Are we stuck with him until January?

Now he knuckles down scores 12 by Christmas and leaves for a pathetic sum in January, just when everybody starts to like him again.

He'll only ever leave for a cheap sum anyway. His wages are massive, hence no takers this window when a fee plus wages are needed. If we were to cancel his contract, clubs would be all over him.

His attitude needs to change if he's going to get any goals for us. At the end of the day, he needs to remind people that he's good enough to get back to the top. I'm expecting 4 months of moping and half-arsed performances though.

I really hope he will knuckle down and score lots of goals between now and January.

The problem is that he is coming up to 30 so he could just choose to sit there and do very little, pocket the 60K a week and then retire in 3 years time with millions in the bank. It just depends on whether he actually enjoys playing football or whether he is more interested in the dosh.

We can only hope it is the former.
