Hoop Blah Or maybe it's just that you've got the arse with the manager not bending over backwards to bring you back into the team at the expense of fitter players who've been doing alright in your absence?

Genuine humour, congrats.

Jimmy Kebe said not "The fans say Jimmy Kebe refused to play and this sort of thing but I would never do that. I've been at Reading for six years and never have I refused to play. Why would I now?," he said.

Perhaps because there's a chance to double your wages and move to the Premier League and you didn't want to put that at risk

Or maybe it's just that you've got the arse with the manager not bending over backwards to bring you back into the team at the expense of fitter players who've been doing alright in your absence?

terrible man management from adkins imo.

Mainly because I clamped my hands over my ears, glued my eyes shut and started shouting very loudly, I did not realise this Kebe thing had gone as far as discussions.. I am, and have been for many years, in love with Jimmy Kebe. I don't want him to go. It won't be the same without him and his beautiful shining head. Lets never sell him. Ever. Contract for life.
Sadly, this can never be anything more than a dream. As we all know he does what he wants. So my question is "how much?".
How much would you take for Jimmy "He who lights the way through the night and into our hearts" Kebe?

Nothing less than 50 million euros. And that's only cos he's not fit.

Kebe(injured) out, Vaz Te in, RFC have a stronger squad with more goal menace. Also Vaz Te will play more than 1 match per season!

Jimmy has only played less than 15 games a season once.. He has played over 40 games 3 times and over 30 in one (obviously not including the times he played over 40. Duh.)
Last season he played only 17 games but in the 4 seasons preceding that he played 166 games for us and scored 26 goals.

So in the four seasons before last he failed to have an injury that stopped his impact.

Yeah!
Not only that but watching him grow from a wobbly spaz into one of the most entertaining and hard working players I've ever seen play for us has been the only thing that got me through a couple of dire seasons
*sniff
