It's going to be around 21 degrees with cloud cover. That's not exactly tropical.

Green What you doing in Basingstoke, CV :?:

The £15 return train deal is only valid on the line from Waterloo to Yeovil, so we are going to hop on at Basingstoke

Oh and I will probably stick to the Wetherspoons for this one, only because I only have a couple of hours and wanna eat and have a few bevvies. Don't wanna go walking round looking for more pubs.

Just hope we have a decent amount of RFC fans around, would be good to see a decent crowd in the same place.

Anyone getting the train from Reading? Hoping we might be able to share a taxi/follow some fellow Reading fans to the ground.

Green Seems a shame to go all that way and just pitch up in the wetherspoons.

I've not researched it but surely Yeovil has something else to offer?

Located in Cider Country, you'd think we would have a number of appealing options to choose from. We don't. Barely anything nearby.

If you're driving, come off the A303 towards Tintinhull onto Head Street/Yeovil Road/Tintinhull Road. In Tintinhill itself, follow the National Trust signs for Tintinhill Gardens, and you will find the Crown & Victoria. Tintinhull is the right side of Yeovil for the ground which is about 15 minutes drive away. BA22 8PZ - http://www.thecrownandvictoria.co.uk

Just further along the main road from the A303, in Chilthorne Domer, is the Carpenters Arms. This is about 10 minutes from the ground (by car) and you can almost see the floodlights across a couple of fields. BA21 3PX - http://carpenters-chilthorne.co.uk/home.html

We're driving so this may be a good call. Likely to be many others going to Tintinhull??

Massive thanks has to go to Yeovil who moved all the Reading fans (that they were aware of) into the corner of the Augusta Stand. It was a little dodgy though thanks to one moany old bastard in the back row who was hell bent on getting Reading fans kicked out, and who only made me cheer louder when I had something to shout about. You could feel the home fans, who were in general quite nice, but you could feel they were just waiting for that opportunity to turn our way and gloat if they got that goal that felt like it was coming. Luckily we got it, and I couldn't help but go mental. Disappointingly I was about the only Reading fan to celebrate; the rest just clapped quickly and stayed quiet. I wasn't having any of that! The old git at the back leaned in as he left, me half expecting him to start an argument, then he complained Le Fondre dived and was a disgrace and we should be ashamed.

Nice little ground, nice enough people minus the one dipstick, great for parking right outside the ground and for nothing, but a shit drive past Stonehenge. Shame we couldn't hear the away end much due to no roof.
