Royalclapper Mountain out of a molehill situation surely? The stewards don't seem to be inflicting any lasting damage to me. They are tw@ts of course but you can imagine that they have a one size fits all no nonsense policy for away fan stewarding that also applies to the nutter followings of Leeds and Millwall etc so they are not likely to treat a Reading fan any differently.

Ah, so its fine to treat all fans as criminal hooligans because a small minority are. Riiiight.


Agreed, it's not fine. It has always been this way unfortunately though where football supporters are concerned i.e. you're almost guilty until proven innocent. How are the stewards to know who might get nasty and who's just in it for the lolz.

By reacting to the situation professionally and using appropriate force.

Just because it's always that way doesn't mean when its wrong you don't take a stand and try and put it right. That's the sort of attitude that perpetuates the problem.
