Would love to see Chris Baird come to the club, he is edging a move towards QPR but I don't see why we can't try for him

murof Have to say I'm gutted that we have lost Jimmy Kebe and Mariappa. Kebe was by far our most creative and exciting talent, and Mariappa (and Kelly) seem to be the only defenders we have that know what they're supposed to be doing (why have they they never get the nod to play?).

Both last season and this season its been plain to see that we can't defend for shit, yes Morrison looks good, but he is way to slow to react to anything and situations just seem pass him by. Pearce hasn't got a clue what to do when he has the ball apart from hoof it towards the corner flag and Gunter just seems very naive though he is improving. Bridge seems the most solid of the bunch, just hope he doesn't get injured.

Why couldn't we have sold Gorks, Pearce and kanu instead of Kebe and Mariappa?

I thought we were financially stable enough whereby we didn't have to sell off any assets like we had to do in seasons past?
Lets hope we can keep hold of the best English goalkeeper in the world and get some decent signings in

We'd have to sign the best English Goalkeeper first to do that.

To be fair, the gap between Hart and McCarthy is closing rapidly

Because Hammond and Adkins are not total idiots and actually have a clue about football - HTH. Mariappa was class last week!

Yeah pretty annoyed with some of our thick fans. How is Brendan Rodgers doing these days?

Holloway: I'd like to buy Jimmy Kebe
Hammond: Would you like Gorks, Pearce or Kanu instead?
Holloway: ......No

That's why.

But unfortunately the gap between where McCarthy aims his kicks and where they land is growing exponentially...

Any good news on deadline day?

Yes, after today, we won't have to keep catching the endless, pointless and tedious cobblers being spouted and repeated ad infinitum on SSN

Although, the bad news is it'll be back to features on Women's Cricket, Speedway and Pidgeon racing....

I think my athletes' foot is clearing up.

Also, a mate at works mum, won a grand this morning off a packet of Rowntrees Randoms.
