todays just going to be another depressing day with endless speculation and hope to supporters but it will turn out to no signings and a statement from the club at midnight (your time) saying something along the lines of we made several attempts to sign some big names or other players but they couldnt materialize at the last minute.

That is 100% driven by the player rather than us IMO. I would guess he handed in a transfer request quite early on & that's why Adkins hasn't played him.

I have got tremendous faith in NH and Nige and expect that we will sign at least one and maybe two new players before the end of the window.

I say this because if we don't then it will have been a disaster of a transfer window.....losing 2 players, keeping players we don't want to keep and for even suggesting Stephen Hunt comes back.
