And his loan at Fiorentina was for the last few months of last season. He's back at PSG now.

Could he be the Center Back we so badly need? Great in the air, strong, tough tackler, quick on his feet and a good passer.

He would be perfect for Adkins tactics to bring the ball out the back.

Renders the Williams signing pretty pointless if we play him in midfield. Obviously I think we should play our best players in their best roles, however if this is genuine then I think Adkins could be intending to play him at the back.
