TBM People are forgetting that we can still sign players on loan and those who are free agents

I agree but free agents are generally free because they're not wanted!!! However, if you can name some quality players who'd add strength to our team/squad I shall apologise accordingly...!

Hold off on the doom. I think we'll soon find that signings have been made, all we're waiting for is the media gears to grind into action. There'll be more than one with decent loans to follow.

Fair play to Qpr, be pretty shocked if they don't walk the league

Have to say QPR have shown a lot of ambition. They have clearly set put with the ambition of going up whatever the cost. If they fail there could no doubt be consequences but I now wish that I had backed them to win the division rather than wasting my hard earned tenner backing RFC.

On paper, you'd expect it to be between QPR, Wigan and Watford .... hopefully we'll have a chance at the play-offs, but I'd say teams like Forest, Leicester, Blackpool etc. have an equal or greater chance than we have on current form and signings made.

Well we soon know if it has been a magnificent August window or the normal dross we serve up !

just another point there was a very amusing thread twice last night "at the mad stad" and one this morning about TSI, both now deleted ? is this no longer an open forum or has it become a "be nice to us " or else club rtg chummy site ??

Don't know why people are creaming over QPR's signings. Somebody said Tom Carroll would 'light up the championship.'

Be serious. He might be good, he might not, we don't know. Assou-Ekotta is no improvement on Wayne Bridge and Kranjcar has seen his best days.

I'm confident there will be announcements today and they will make people happy.

Also, in the condemnation of Kebe's conduct, given the pic of him talking to Sissoko in the hotel. Is it not likely that Kebe was instrumental in persuading him to come here?

Merged with existing threads already discussing exactly the same subject.

Interesting to hear about contracts being mutually cancelled leaving them as free agents. I guess this paves the way to a lower cost player/club payoff which could be negated by a signing on fee.

Biabiany described by whoscored.com as a player with strengths in pace and dribbling, but key weakness as finishing. Sounds ideal to replace Kebe.

Assuming we have not signed anybody...

We clearly need 2 more which Adkins said we would, including a striker which we desperatly need.. We then lose 2 players and sign nobody? Cant be true.. Surely

We need a forward, a centre half that can play out from the back, and possibly some more creativity in midfield.

Should still challenge top6 with current squad, but you have to think automatic is out the question.
