southbank1871 Someone tell him there's a Pizza Express in Reading if its pizza he's going to Napoli for.

And the Hexagon if he wants a bit of culture!

Whilst i am unsure of the reputation of 'Radio Kiss Kiss' in Italy, they seem to think Napoli turned down Sissoko because he isn't fit enough.

I wouldn't personally go there as I'd be concerned that Vesuvius may erupt.

I went to Napoli with a group of friends at Easter. One of my mates, who is mixed race, wasn't welcomed by the locals at all.... on 3 seperate occasions over the weekend we were told that "you Americans are ok, but the negro must leave otherwise we kill him".

I'm sure they'd be like Momo though.

sandman The question is where are we light in the and the answer most would've given during the transfer window and now after it would be attack and defence. I think very few, no matter what side of this debate you are on, would say a Midfielder is number 1 priority.

So? signing a midfielder doesn't preclude signing a striker. We did say we wanted about three players for three positions.

You don't not try to sign a player who will significantly improve your team just because you also want to sign someone for a different position where we're weaker.

I think the club has a far better idea of how it works its budget than any of us do.

I did see NH's comment in the Chronicle about the lack of new signings, "Everything is magnified in football these days but it is hard for fans because they don’t understand the finances involved in running a football club."

Basically a thinly veiled "shut the fcuk up you clueless pcunts"

All the more reason not to talk up their ambition then and raise fans expectations, especially when so many younger fans buy into the nonsense in the papers about us having lots of money, which has never been the case. If anything, be more transparent, tell fans of the clubs intention to maintain a competitive wage structure to attract the best players to the club that we can but with a modest transfer budget, and look to the academy to push the experienced players. That is after all AZ's idealistic vision for the club. Fans would then apply patience to the process, but when they see we want an instant return this season, they see a record parachute payment plan in place for the next 4 years, and hear of 100 goals wanted, they their expectations quite rightly go through the roof!

The PR people at the club, one of which was brought in at the end of last season to provide positive spin where necessary, are doing a piss poor job quite frankly.

They sold season tickets - which in turn leads on to increased concession and merchandise sales

They did their job brilliantly

Maybe next time he himself, his manager and their boss should ''shut the oxf*rd up'' about how players they're going to buy before the transfer window shuts. Therefore not making Themselves look like a collective''clueless pcunt'' when they fail to deliver.

Indeed they did, by fooling fans into thinking we were going to match their ambitions on the pitch. Do you expect that record breaking 14000 season ticket holders (personal record for the football league) to renew next season when it's become abundantly clear the new owner continues to mislead fans? No, we will drop back to around 12,500, and the average attendances will in turn drop back to their norm of approximately 18,000 (15,500 home support).

Short-term gain, long-term loss.
