The fairly standard stuff about players and plans is only what every club comes up with and if they didn't then Hna would be just as apoplectic about the cliched 'lack of ambition'. Ah, but at what point does it become tapping up. I will be generous and say he is surveying his options (although I can't see him at Cardiff if Napoli was still a possibility). I guess there is nothing wrong in seeing who is interested and what they are offering, rather than taking the first one you are given. To be honest, given his history, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the terms of the contract rather than the remuneration which was the issue. If he is after a multi-year contract, and he is offered a one year or pay as you play, he may knock it back even if it is a better pay rate.
