Google maps says 81 hours to walk the 243 miles though I think it would take me about a fortnight.

I'll stick to the car - I can leave the Mad Stad after a 3pm kickoff and get home to watch Match of the Day.

But we're not on that anymore ......

Geekins
10539.4 Miles Away Perth -> Darwin 754 hours
(Cheat boat to Bali)
Bali -> Calais 3055 hours
(Cheat Ferry to dover)
Dover->Madjeski 38 hours

Total Walking time: 5 months, 2 weeks, 6 days, 7 hours

At 10 hours walking per day: 1 year, 2 weeks, 6 days, 16 hours

Anyone up for doing the reverse? We'll meet somewhere around the India/Pakistan border I reckon

Working out from that time, i reckon you must live 10539.4 Miles away?

A bugger if the games postponed.

For reasons I won't bore you with did not have a car available , August 2012 and hate using the supporters bus (OK going but coming back is awful-and it does seem expensive) so I walked from the Triangle. From memory it took me about hour and a half-downhill all the way and very pleasant in the sunshine-couldn't face walking back up to the Tilehurst heights and luckily saw a neighbour at the game and cadged a lift from him.

I would probably do it again rather than catch the bus.

Old habits die hard in the M4 corridor it seems.

26 hours (says Google Maps), but I'd probably need several months in hospital en route!

Green Interested to see how close to the ground fellow loyal royals live. (TIP: If unsure and it's a long way, put it into google maps and select "walking" :) )

15 hours 49 minutes for me. Not a journey I'd ever attempt on foot LOL.

ffs Green, I'm round your way, next time I could give you a lift
