Hardly unique to us. Perhaps if a few people pulled their heads from between their buttocks we'd belt up a bit.

Anton Zingarevich is being investigated By the Daily Mail 's Sporting Inteligence team who suspect that the Russian owner does not have enough of his own money, and is using the clubs parachute payments to fund the remaining 49% buyout from Sir John Madejski, which is due to be concluded by the close of October 2013.

The clubs reaction to the supporters dismay over the lack of investment in the summer, and indeed the previous three transfer windows, has lead to the club releasing a statement declaring there isn't much money left in the pot due to the 'competitive' wage bill. With record parachute payments over four years, that must be quite some wage bill.

It's come about through our supporters contacting SI to look into the clubs finances again. They were very dubious about the Zingarevich's when they were trying to buy Everton, and then Reading, and have maintained an interest since.

However, that quote was taken from http://www.readingrumours.co.uk but the renewed interest from the Daily Mail is indeed there.

No. Reading fans have approached SI and asked them to look into our finances, as they have taken an in depth interest ever since TSI have been on the scene. A fan has then seen this and decided to post it on a rumours forum, as another has chosen to do so on here. It's not a rumour that SI are sniffing around for a story. It's just ended up being posted on a rumours forum for other fans to see it...

That's even worse than the DM "investigating" by their own volition.

You do know that site is one of many hundreds of websites on football-rumours.com? (they cover football and various other sports etc) I don't think he owns that. If he does then he's got a few bob coming in from it all and I doubt he'd waste his time on here.
