5cotland This guy is an absolute beast. He was unlucky with injuries in 2011/12 but this guy can do a job for most teams. He played for AC Milan for free for a season. He's 31 Years old and has an immense amount of international and european experiance.
He is currently without a club but what are you thoughts on someone like him playing for the royals as a replacement for Mariappa.
Nicky Hammond I've heard Onyewu will play for free... We're a VERY ambitious, got a Russian owner and everything... Can we do a deal?

Elm Park Pasty Not sure, looks like he managed less than 30 games in the last four seasons

He holds a Belgian passport from his time at Standard Liege. I honestly think this guy is a diamond in the rough and would be a rock at the back.

Todd Margaret While we're on the topic of American backs, Hammond should keep an eye on Sheanon Williams at Philadelphia Union. He's easily the best right back in MLS and can play CB as well. Known for good aerial work and he can whip throw-ins into the box like corner kicks. Only 23 and on a reported $105k USD/year (MLS pays peanuts compared to Championship.)

Snowball 7 out of Stoke's first 13 goals last season came from long throws
