Fine. I may as well dig out that f*cking endless Tommy Smith thread from a few years back and restart that rumour then. Actually, we've probably got more chance of signing him now than Siggy!

Scored against Norwich. If that's not an indication that he's coming to Reading I don't know what is.

Reports suggesting his celebration involved him running towards the Spurs bench, flicking the V's and shouting "fcuk you AVB you ginger tw@t, I'm off back to Reading".

Good day for a few ex-Royals so far today. Cox, Sidwell, Golbourne, Mooney, Kitson and Doyle have also scored for their respective clubs.

Go on Churchy.

2 goals for Gylfi today.

He should be good for us in the Championship. Looking forward to seeing this loan go through.

And apparently denied a hat-trick by a good save from Ruddy.

He's just been subbed. Surely an indicator of his imminent departure from the club.

Leyton Orient. Who, according to the league table, are better than Peterborough. Who, based on a recent result, are slightly better than us.

No but logic dictates that Leyton Orient should be able to put at least 8 past Liverpool.

Because of a result from 6 years ago? Or is the one from 6 weeks ago (or less) more relevant?

I guess we were as good as the Champions League winners last season then. And better than Barcelona going by some of the 'logic' on here.
