One thing I can predict with 100% certainty. if Leeds win the famed "Brian, the right decision" thread will surface again.

Another LOLable former big club that's been reduced to chasing after the post 4.30pm marked down supermarket bread of transfer targets.

Always think of them as one of British football's oddities - the only club from a large yet not exclusively football oriented city, patchy home support yet away from home they are up there with any club you wish to name, largely made up from the descendants of the glory hunting Revie era. Hated by almost everyone which is reflected in their partisan support which also happens to be one the finest followings in the land for making up ace and original chants about their own club and intimidating and out-singing the support at pretty much every ground they visit.

Reading 1 - 1 The Goats

Why would they be more motivated than us?

have you watched any of our games this season? because I've not seen any evidence of motivation from Reading this season so far and can't see it starting on Wednesday!! I've seen more life & motivation in a sloth!!! :D

BraisingsteakRoyal It'll be to appear undermining to the current regime, and disrespectful to the current manager.

Not for me no.

As much as I may disagree with Adkins tactics at times it is not a case of undermining the manager or the team with abuse at a match. That is counter-productive.

However, if an ex-player / manager returns with another club and we want to show our appreciation for their time with us then I don't give a toss if someone is vein and sensitive enough to take it any other way.

I don't think the current Southampton manager felt undermined last season when they visited and all sang for Adkins, so why should Nigel now?

westongeezer If we get a result here, it will be nothing short of a miracle, time to get the Galatasaray flags out and show suport for a Partner club

That is sad Westy, there may well be family members if not many friends of the two Leeds lads killed in Turkey. Lets not lower ourselves to that of the likes of Millwall, despite the connection with the Turks.

leon 0-1

However I'm not sure that after 7 games people will be calling for his head. I hope not.

im pretty sure the current disgruntlement bubbling under will come out in full force if we lose.
most of it wont be against nigel, most of it will be raging against the board, the owner etc
but itll be hard to tell from the directors box where the boo's are actually being aimed at

Pepe the Horseman Wtf is wrong with you idiots? People are acting like we've lost five in a row. We've lost one game this season, against the team who are top of the league, and are two points behind Leeds.

Important info^^^^^^^^^
do try and keep this in mind

edinburghroyal 2-0 Reading, Pogrebnyak, wearing a Blackman top, to score a brace!

We'll get found out because everyone knows Blackman couldn't score twice!

Boy, am I hoping that this remark is rammed back down my throat with interest come 10pm on Wednesday!

A real embarrassing return to the Mad Stad for McDermott.

What a clown you are.

I guess it was a joke and a poor one. Take a flag and stand outside their end and see if they find it funny.

In 6 games each have played so far, Leeds have scored 6 and us 7.

So averaging a goal each per game. I'll go for 1-1 then :D

In a dream world Reading win 5- 1 let Hunt have a tap in in the last minute. Close up of BM looking
pissed would be good.

Sadly we won't if we play like we did not on Sunday we will struggle to score. We need to play faster.
Really do not want to lose to dirty Leeds.

Wonder if Anton is still on paternity leave? convenient.

I know we all thought we were dog shit on Sunday, but I work with a Leeds fan who after watching the game with his son (who plays for their academy or whatever they call it) think that we played well against a good Brighton side and we're going to thrash Leeds. Makes me slightly more optimistic, but I can't see anything other than 0-0.
