Rumours around our office circulating that Anton has remortgaged the stadium and hotel and hasn't paid for shit.

Of course, this is all "my mate whose mate knows this guy who..." screwbollox, but after all this transfer squirming, broken promises and player sales I can't help but worry.

I mean, the academy and players we have brought in - is that really with Anton money? And our performances taking a serious dip; could that be to do with something going on backstage?

Fingers crossed we are just shit at transfers and football, but I have an uneasy feeling about this.

I also read on twitter last night, something about the expansion plans and the club asking for an extra week...not sure what that was all about tbh. I can't see, however, how AZ could remortgage the club/hotel if he doesn't own them 100% in the first place...however, something isn't right.

I am in agreement but read the early interviews with SJM and AZ, the club will continue to be run in a prudent way. They are.

I would like a good striker but look at the brighton game. Our midfield couldn't manage anything other than to lump the ball in the box. Alf and pog both need balls to feet.

They will score if they do.

i think adkins is struggling to impliment a new system understandably. i think hes made some mistakes, tactically, and in team selection, and formation.
i think the club is struggling to readjust to life back down here financially, but there is some money to fund new signings. we just failed to do so. like many other clubs this window.
including man united.
i think we have been hugely naive, stupid even with some of our proclamations. but i believe they werent in any way duplicitous.

Mine is more of a concern, rather than a conspiracy theory. Could of course be joining the dots up wrongly, but it does seem odd: team performances have gone down the toilet, two good players sold despite assurances we'd keep hold of 'em, falling well short of our stated aims in the transfer market, a delay in the buyout and radio silence from the owners and board; just feels fishy.
