Irritates me that teams do it. Irritates me that teams don't get penalised for it. It's pretty blatant obstruction.

Sanguine But if that tactic is blatant, you'll get penalised for it. If the ref watches you bodycheck an opponent so he can't get to the ball, he'll award the other team a free-kick.
Players are literally just getting in the keepers' way, that's obstruction.

That's exactly the point.
Attacking players don't stand their ground, they move so as to impede the keeper.
