Ian Royal
St. Brynjar 'We all love Leeds'.

I thought it was great.

And it worked and kept going because the Leeds fans have an idea of pacing. Unlike ours, who rush through Blue Army faster and faster until 2 minutes in you literally can't keep it going any longer because no one's got time to breathe.

We're like randy teenagers getting down to it. No control and its over almost before it's started, leaving only a feeling of disappointment and shame.

As someone under the age of twenty, that simile is all too real :(

Apologies to this joe kid, I honestly didn't realise the extent of bad internet he'd managed to create in his short time on here. I may have to start paying more attention to his utterances

The speeding up of chants is because I'm not starting them anymore :p

I and other chant boys of the same ilk back in the day would keep a blue army going for 10mins or so sometimes

Come on kids... SLOW, POWERFUL, LONG LIVED. It will have a huge effect on the atmosphere and players

Yes totally agree but then Leeds are a club with Footballing history and status in the game and have a massive following compared to the few hundred or so we take away, there are not many clubs that have dropped down which can boast the gates that Leeds get, when I hear idiots saying we are a well supported club I laugh, the home game atmosphere replicates something of a wake

It's something we always used to be able to manage back at Elm Park. I can remember keeping Blue Army going for 15 minutes or more there. Yes, we're not the most noisy, and we go quiet and sulky very easily. But we're not much different to most home sides in that regard.

Is this guy for real? For a club Reading's size and stature 700 is a respectable number to take to a run-of-the-mill league game at a venue we've visited numerous times over the last 10 years :|

You must go clubbing in some pretty large barns then.
