John Percy was adamant this was on a few weeks ago and says he will be in the squad tomorrow. SWFC have also now ruled themselves out of signing him as they couldn't afford his salary at this time.

Look this would be an energency loan as they are all that are allowed outside the summer or jan
window. correct me if i am wrong but i believe the max time allowed is 93 days. we can try to sign a perm or longer loan in jan.

Baird was out of contract.. good deal for both parties. he is good cover for midfield/defence. Furtermore, in jan we could negotiate a longer deal or he MAY choose to move
on.

Like Sharp a lot, probably not the player to be a regular at PL level but usually he's a big thorn in the side of everyone at this level. Of course it all depends on players making opportunities for him.

If he is to be wearing our colours I hope it really works for him.

I believe so. Charlie Watts not heard anything but admits deal could
be done tomorrow or perhaps we want to delay to get longer? However, do not want to lose him to
QPR. So is it really done?

Good point. They've said they want a striker. Ideally we want this done now, unless we're confident he wont go elsewhere. I expect Sharp will become perm in Jan as well. Plenty of time to wheel and deal with Saint in the meantime.

Guess if we want to make sure that we can keep him through until the window opens we could get him to sign contract to be paid by us immediately but delay registering him as a player for a few days. That would make sure Harry or others can't pinch him unless Sharp was prepared to breach contract.
