sandman Reports suggesting his celebration involved him running towards the Spurs bench, flicking the V's and shouting "fcuk you AVB you ginger tw@t, I'm off back to Reading".

Do we think he'll sign in time for today's match? I think so. The club won't reveal till minutes before the game.

With Spurs set to spend big he may become available in January. Loan with the option to sign in Summer if promoted?

He's played three times already this season for Spurs in the Prem, scoring twice + played two games in Europe
He will either: Stay at spurs (most likely), move to a big club abroad or a top half Prem club.
There is no way he is dropping down to the Chump and giving up a massive salary to take a backward career step, why would he ?

I'll be honest, I was just desperately trying to make something out of nothing to keep this going.

2 world wars, 1 world cup Do we think he'll sign in time for today's match? I think so. The club won't reveal till minutes before the game.

A mistake with the paperwork meant he couldn't play today. Next Saturdays game is a sure thing though.

Shame.

The big question really is who will we drop?

I think Guthrie is too good but Baird is looking promising.

A good problem to have I say.

Don't need to.

Adkins' wry smile in his interview pretty much gave the game away. It was a blatant "I can't wait for gylfis first game with us, which is imminent" smile.

He might not get in the team. If that's the case we can always loan him out to Tottenham for some match experience.

Guthrie will just throw a wobbler about not being the centre of attention anymore and put in a transfer request.

I think it best for Gylfi's continuing education in the game that he stays at Tottenham until January to gain further first team experience. He should be in good shape to join our promotion push by then.

No way he is coming back. He is far too good for us. His performance today was magnificent.
