Fantastic second half, we passed the ball around really well and looked a lot more composed than we have in recent weeks.

Special mentions go to Robson-Kanu, who was strong in possession, all of the back four, Danny Guthrie, Garath McCleary, and a rejuvenated Pavel Pogrebnyak.

alfie is put on late when chasing a game, not when trying to keep a lead. putting blackman on was the right call, him and pog could hold it up and waste time. dont get me wrong i rate alfie much much higher than blackman but i agree with nige on this one.

Thought Baird did his part and played well. Looks like a decent signing

Royal91 I love that Blackman gave the crowd a oxf*rd off look

This.

Tehehehe. His first touch was still absolute pony, though, and then he got a lucky touch to finish. I hope we pay him in carrots.

This. But fair play to him, he stuck it in the net and that's what counts.

HRK was quality second half. Great use of his chest to control long balls and get space to pass / cross. Akpan put in a good shift too, with some tidy feet and good timewasting in their corner.

Cummings playing defensive midfield in front of back 4 seemed to work well today, although we did concede almost straight after he came on.

First time I've actually 'seen' us this season... and on telly (thanks AlJaz).... but that was complete sh1te.

Pedestrian. Lack of any pace, first touch, vision, skill, movement. Jeez, is the Chumpionship really that poor?

We were clearly by far the better team but, other than the beer, butties and banter, there was nothing in that for footy fans.

Toss up between Guthers and HRK as MotM - in case anyone was interested. Although full marks to Pog for trying to stay on his feet....most of the time. He looked much better for it, too.

So pleased for both of them, although I imagine those who slate the guys will just laugh the performance off. Keep going Reading!

Blackman didn't do himself any favours with his celebration!

Glad he got himself on the score sheet though
