Interestingly (and I'm not bullshitting here), I went on google images to find a funny pic of nick Blackman to pretend I was there as a joke and I came across many pics of him presumably having scored but showing a stone cold emotionless face. There's only one on there I could see where he's clearly smiling.

Maybe as he's new and we haven't seen much of him that's just he celebrates a lot of the time, the poor lad.

Some players have this kind of " So what that I scored, of course I did I'm the man" way of celebrating.

Give the kid a break.

Hi Nick

Ignore the small minority of tw@ts. You've not done too bad & most fans are willing you to do well. Nice to see you score today.

Snowball You laughed at Kebe.

You were wrong.

You were wrong about Shane. "Will never be a footballer"

Remember his goal at QPR? Remember his celebration?

Sad, thick, pot-bellied "fans" most in dead-end jobs, with the insight of turds

You're exactly the kind of tard he was doing it for.

Is it just me who thinks moderators shouldn't be calling posters "tards".
I see you insult posters quite frequently.
Surely you should attempt to be a bit more neutra,l and less rude.

Having now seen Blackmans goal I think it's hilarious if he's used that as an opportunity to stick the proverbial finger up at the boo boys.

A decent supporting run, a poor touch and a bit of fortune that a scuffed shot made it past the keeper and he thinks he's proved a point?

imHobb I thought Blackman was our best player against Leeds on Wednesday. He doesn't deserve all the stick he gets and even when he scores there are people saying how lucky he was and giving him stick. Leave the lad alone.

Um, no. That was Guthrie by a country mile.

He's on a hiding top nothing really, isn't he?

He may or may not be playing at a level above his ability, I don't know. What I do know is that he was panic bought for an unrealistic fee and being played out of position in a shit team. The manager who bought him promptly gets sacked 5 weeks later so he also has to adjust to a new manager coming in and trying to change the way the whole team plays. Give the lad a break, Kebe looked like a donkey for 2 years before it finally clicked for him.

I can't believe that a bunch of grown men are getting so upset just because a footballer wouldn't jump up and down with them.

"He does what he wants,
He does what he wants,
He's Nick Blaclman,
He does what he wants!"

I haven't booed him. Just don't think his celebration was worthy of the tap in he scored and his poor performances since he signed.

You clearly can't judge a players ability platypuss you deluded individual.

I don't agree with the booing of our own players (other than if they blatently aren't trying which isn't the case here) and can imagine it must be upsetting for the player. However, firstly, the people clapping him off on Wednesday far outweighed those jeering so maybe Blackman should be concentrating on those rather than the h8ers and, secondly, the fans he stared down yesterday have spent fortunes to go there and contribute to paying his wages which are 10 X the average wage of the fans, for doing something most of us would kill to do.

So basically he needs to MTFU and realise how lucky and priviledged he is.

Platypuss He scored - he made his point in the best way possible, Jeering Reading "fans" need the reality check. We don't need you.

The best way possible?

Yes - he scored. Was the point somehow beyond you?

From a tap in that he nearly messed up with a poor first touch? You gorm
